About us

PROBE SERVICES is a fully licensed, insured and bonded Private Investigation Company with headquarters in Buffalo, NY. Established in 1997, PROBE SERVICES has expanded  operations to include investigators located in all strategic areas, giving the company the ability to cover the entire states of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida.

The highly trained and dedicated staff of over 65 investigators and office personnel consists of individuals with law enforcement, investigation, and insurance adjusting experience, which enable us to handle any type of investigation required by our clients.

Our executive management has over 100 years of experience working with Third-Party Administrators and Self-Insured Companies throughout New York State, and Nationwide. Through our dedication and expertise, we have also established relationships with many of the clients of the TPA’s and, have performed services for them, as well as a number of Self Insured Companies.

PROBE SERVICES investigators are well versed in all types of Worker’s Compensation and Liability Claims. Conducting accident scene investigations with photographs, witness statements, employer and claimant interviews, as well as video surveillance, we are able to provide our clients with the necessary information to assist them in any situation.

Investigators equipment:

Each Investigator at PROBE SERVICES is equipped with a fully operational and company
maintained digital video camera with extensive telephoto capabilities, as well as digital still
photograph cameras. All investigators have communication, even in the most remote areas of
our coverage.

Additional available equipment:

Investigators in all areas have access to fully equipped surveillance vans for specific
investigations, covert video and audio systems for undetectable evidence gathering, and
additional investigative support for difficult or dangerous situations.

Ownership of equipment:

All field investigators own their own vehicles. All video and audio equipment is also the property
of the individual investigators. Computers are available in our main offices, as well as company
provided lap top computers for our investigators in remote areas.

Security:

PROBE SERVICES headquarters are located in a stand-alone building outfitted with a state of
the art security system. Security code locks are changed each time an employee is terminated.
All paper files are stored in locked and secure file cabinets in our main office, not in off site
locations. All evidence is secured and maintained in an evidence locker, also physically located
in our main office. Numerous percussions are provided by our IT tech support company, as well
as our Internet Service Provider, using innovative security systems and firewalls to prevent
access to our server and computer systems.

Investigative reports:

Field investigators are required to either dictate or type their own reports. Report writing is a
major part of our extensive training program. The supervisor, or Account Manager, then
grammatically edits the investigator’s draft, which is then proof read by our support staff prior to
submission to the client.

Tracking prior employees:

When applicable, PROBE SERVICES field investigators are advised at the time they leave their
employment that they are legally required to be available for any future depositions or
testimony. Specific identifiers are maintained in the prior employee’s personnel file, as well as
information in reference to relatives to assist in continued communication subsequent to
separation.

“Developing relationships with our customers based on integrity and a history of

personal attention.”

It is a major aspect of the Mission Statement of PROBE SERVICES to develop relationships
with our clients.

The Account Manager and support staff at PROBE SERVICES are able to deliver world-class
customer service to our clients through the most basic, as well as sophisticated means,
beginning with communication. Constant communication between and Account Manager and
client provides details that are essential to complete investigations with positive results.

Phone calls, emails and personal consultations are the best and most effective forms of
communication our office has developed to keep our clients updated. This allows us to keep the
relationship with our clients on a positive and productive level.

PROBE SERVICES is a full service, licensed Private Investigation Company that has
assembled some of the most qualified, and experienced executives and investigators in the
industry, with legal, law enforcement and claims adjusting backgrounds in New York, New
Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida to provide our clients with the most innovative, confidential,
and reliable services available. Our investigators are trained and experienced in all Workers’
Compensation regulations as well as evidence gathering and trespass laws. Our management
and support staff has more experience dealing with Third-Party Administrators and Self-
Insured’s than most national offices.

Since incorporation in 1997, PROBE SERVICES has grown from a single office in Buffalo, NY,
to having field investigators strategically located in all of our coverage areas. This has allowed
for expediential growth in client base and name recognition.

As detailed in our proposal, PROBE SERVICES has developed programs for Work Plans,
Timeframs, Reporting and Investigative Report Writing, as well as detecting and evaluating
Conflicts of Interest. This has enabled us to streamline our administrative time and concentrate
more on the job at hand, investigation.

The relationship we have with our clients is priority one. It is our opinion that with a dedicated
staff, combined with the proper equipment and experience, we can provide our clients with
customer service second to none, and the investigative results necessary to facilitate any claim
they have. “Attention to Detail” and “Time Service” are not buzzwords at PROBE SERVICES,
they are the words we live by.
